Compare Michelangelo’s preliminary drawings with the finished frescos of the Sistine Chapel! The seven drawings by Michelangelo that can be seen on the website were on display in the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest in 2019 at the exhibition titled Triumph of the Body: Michelangelo and Sixteenth-Century Draughtsmanship together with further twenty-two drawings by the great renaissance master.
